Bharat Ratna APJ Abdul Kalam Passed Away: Former Indian President Bharat Ratna APJ Abdul Kalam (Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam) Passed Away today(27.07.2015). He was reportedly collapsed on stage while giving a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management in Shillong and immediately rushed to hospital. Doctors say he suffered from a cardiac arrest.

            Dr Kalam was born in Rameswaram on October 15, 1931, to a boatman. He played a pivotal role in India's Pokhran-II nuclear test in 1998, the first since the test by India in 1974. He was known as Missile Man India for ensuring the success of Integrated Guided Missile Development Programme (IGMDP). For his achievements, he was awarded the Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan and Bharat Ratna, and then he became the 11th President of India in 2002. He was THE BEST and the ONLY president of India who inspired youth. His life itself is a motivational lesson for the modern youth.

Dear Comrades,

Confederation National Executive Committee Meeting held at ITEF HQ, Rajauri Garden, New Delhi on 12.07.2015 and NFPE Federal Secretariat Meeting held at NFPE HQ at North Avenue Post Office Building, New Delhi held on 13.07.2015, have decided to participate in the Nation Wide Strike on 2^nd September-2015 on the call of All Central Trade Unions and independent Federations and  indefinite strike from 23^rdNovember, 2015 on call of National Council (JCM).

We as AIPE Union Group ‘C’ being the affiliate of NFPE endorse the call of both strikes.

All details including Charter of Demands and regarding preparations and campaign programme and about serving of Strike Notice have been published in NFPE Circular No. PF-01/2015 dated 13.07.2015 which is enclosed herewith.

AIPE Union Group ‘C’ CHQ calls upon the entire rank and file to take action as per instructions contained in NFPE Circular and make maximum efforts to make both the strikes a grand success.

Please start action immediately and keep informing P-III CHQ and NFPEHQ regarding all activities related to strike.

புதுகை  மாநகரில்  அஞ்சல் மூன்றின் 

சீர் மிகு  மாநில மாநாடு  !

நமது தமிழ் மாநில அஞ்சல் மூன்று சங்கத்தின் 37 ஆவது தமிழ் மாநில மாநாடு எதிர்வரும் செப்டம்பர் மாதம் 4, 5 மற்றும் 6 தேதிகளில் புதுக்கோட்டை- திருக்கோகர்ணம் பகுதியில்  உள்ள V .S .B . கல்யாண மகாலில் சிறப்பாக நடத்திட தீர்மானிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.  மாநாட்டிற்கான முறையான அறிவிப்பு (NOTIFICATION ) மாநிலச் சங்கத்தால் தனியே வெளியிடப்படும் . இது தோழர்./தோழியர் பயண  ஏற்பாடுகள்  செய்து கொள்வதற்கான  முன்னோட்டமான அறிவிப்பே  !

இந்த மாநாட்டை வரவேற்புக் குழு சார்பில் ஏற்று சிறப்பாக  நடத்திட நம்முடைய மத்திய மண்டல செயலரும் , புதுக்கோட்டை அஞ்சல் மூன்றின் கோட்ட செயலருமான தோழர். R . குமார் அவர்கள் பொறுப் பெடுத்துள்ளார். விரைவில் வரவேற்புக் குழு அமைத் திடுவதற்கான   கூட்டம் புதுகை நகரில் நடைபெற உள்ளது. 

இதற்கான ஏற்பாடுகளையும் மாநிலச் சங்கத்தின் சார்பில் செய்திட அவரே பொறுப்பேற்றுள்ளார். அவருடன்  மத்திய மண்டலத்தில் உள்ள மாநிலச் சங்க நிர்வாகிகளான  தோழர். J . ஜானகிராமன் (திருச்சி)  மற்றும் தோழர். R .பெருமாள் (குடந்தை ) ஆகிய இருவரும்   இணைப் பொ றுப்பினை ஏற்றுள்ளனர்.

மாநாட்டு அரங்கு  முழுவதும்  குளிர் சாதனம் பொறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. 1000 பேர் அமரும் வகையில்  பெரிய  அளவில் சிறப்பான புதிய மண்டபமாக உள்ளது. மேலும்  அங்கேயே  சார்பாளர்கள் தங்கும் வகையில்  MINI  HALL  மற்றும்  பெரிய அளவில்  DINING  HALL ,  மிகப் பெரிய  LAWN  மற்றும் CAR  PARKING ,  BUFFET  HALL  என்று  தனித்தனியாக  உள்ளது . 

தலைவர்கள் , சிறப்பு அழைப்பாளர்கள்   தங்கும் வகையில் குளிரூட்டப்பட்ட  14 பெரிய  அறைகள் ,  அதிக அளவில் BATH , LAVATORY அறைகள் என  சிறப்பாக அனைத்தும் ஒரே இடத்தில்  அமைந்துள்ளன. நகரில் இருந்து  2 கி. மீ. தொலைவில்  திருக்கோகர்ணம்  பகுதியில் மண்டபம் அமைந்துள்ளது.  திருச்சியில் இருந்து வருபவர்கள்   திருக்கோ கர்ணம்  பேருந்து நிறுத்தத்தில் இறங்கிக் கொள்ளலாம். புதுகை பேருந்து நிலையத்தில் இருந்து வருபவர்களுக்கு   திருச்சி, கீரனூர் செல்லும் நகரப் பேருந்துகள்  உள்ளன.  

மேலும் விபரங்கள் குறித்து வரவேற்புக்குழு  அமைக்கப்பட்டு  அதன் மூலம் தனியே சுற்றறிக்கை  அனைத்து கோட்ட/ கிளைச் செயலர்கள் , மாநிலச் சங்க நிர்வாகிகள் மற்றும்  மகிளா  கமிட்டி  உறுப்பினர்களுக்கு அனுப்பப்படும் .

மூத்த தலைவர்கள், அனைத்து கோட்ட/ கிளைச் செயலர்கள், மாநிலச் சங்க நிர்வாகிகள் , சம்மேளன , அகில இந்திய சங்க நிர்வாகிகள் , மகிளா கமிட்டி நிர்வாகிகள் , சார்பாளர்கள் , பார்வையாளர்கள் மற்றும்  மத்திய மண்டலத்தை சேர்ந்த  அஞ்சல் நான்கு, GDS  சகோதர சங்க நிர்வாகிகளின் முழு ஒத்துழைப்பையும் ஆதரவையும், ஆலோசனைகளையும்   நம் மாநிலச் சங்கம் வேண்டுகிறது.

Subject: Cash handling allowance payable to the SPMs of single handed and double handed Post Offices.

            Cash handling allowance to the Sub Postmasters in single and double handed Post Offices responsible for handling/custody of cash is being paid with effect from 13.05.1989 at the rates given as below:-

Amount of cash handled on an average per day	Special pay/allowance payable per month
Rs.10001 to 20000	20
Rs. 20001 to 50000	25
Rs. 50001 to 100000	30
Above 1 Lakh	35

2.         On recommendations of the Vth Pay Commission, these rates were doubled with effect from 01-08-1997. On recommendations of the VIth Pay Commission, these rates were again doubled with effect from 01-09-2008 and further increased @ 25% with effect from 01-01-2011 & with effect from 01-01-2014 as per recommendations of the VIth Pay commission on an increase of D.A @ 50% each time. Current rates with effect from 01-01-2014 are given as below:-

3.         The other terms and conditions will be same as laid down in this Directorate letter No. 6-4/80-PAP dated 25-02-1992 and other instructions issued from time to time on the subject.
